An inverter charger is a DC to AC pure sinewave inverter, fully automatic battery charger and AC transfer switch housed within a single case.

Just like the grid, the inverter produces pure sinewave AC electricity for your stand-alone or back-up power needs. Computers, TVs and pumps are just some of the examples of modern electronics that last longer and run better when powered with pure sinewave electricity from our inverters. Starting up pumps and compressors is no problem thanks to their high surge power capability.

Batteries and generators are the costly consumables when using inverters to generate electricity. The integrated intelligent battery charger uses multiple stages to perform quick recharging while prolonging battery life, saving your batteries and generator from unnecessary wear. Automatic switching between AC power sources is seamless due to an AC transfer switch that reacts in less than 16 milliseconds.

XP Compact Combi Units
The Studer XP Compact series offers a pure sine wave inverter from 1100W to 1600W, and a 4 stage fully automatic charger adjustable from 0-45A.

Compact Combi Units
The Studer Compact series offers a pure sine wave inverter from 1300W to 3500W, and a 4 stage fully automatic charger adjustable from 0-55A.

Xtender Series Combi Units
The Xtender series of Combi units provides an unmatched freedom of use thanks to its many functions. In a basic application, it offers the normal functions of an inverter, battery charger, transfer system and Smart-Boost. These functions can be combined and controlled automatically for exceptional comfort and optimized management of the energy available.

The Xtender has two programmable auxiliary contacts. They allow the Xtender to be used in conjunction with existing inverters and can also be used to signal an auto start generator or an alarm. They can be programmed via the RCC-02 “nerve centre” for various scenarios – i.e overload or low battery voltage.

With the new Xtender multiple units can be linked together to provide up to 3 times the power. They can also be linked to provide a 3 phase system. Up to 9 units can be joined to provide up to 24kW 3 phase.
